In the Van of Géraldine at the Vignoble de Genval
Gaëlle's research focuses on the notions of time and dualities, which are becoming increasingly apparent. Time. Capturing the spontaneous moment. Expressed through gesture. Repetitive, meticulous. Sometimes visible, sometimes hidden. Always unique. The test is the work. Sometimes it's ephemeral. Tension and release, manufactured products and raw materials, nature and civilisation, immediacy and time, fullness and emptiness, fragility and strength... These dualities are perceptible both through the choice of processes and themes, and through the dialogue between the works. Curious and keen to experiment, Gaëlle explores different techniques, in a variety of disciplines and formats.
